I've just aquired a very smart set of H&B engine bars for my 1150 from Bryn.
The trouble is, despite trying, he was unable to supply the fixings needed.
The longer M10 bolts required are no problem, but does anyone know where I can source the metal spacers needed to go in the frame / footpeg recesses? I think they need to be internal diameter about 10.5mm, external diameter about 15-18mm in lengths 12,17 and 20mm. Motobins can supply a complete fixing kit for £25 inc post
, but that seems like a lot of dosh for not very much really....
Failing that is there any technical reason why I shouldn't just fit the right number of normal M10 washers over the bolts to pack out the space? Also is it OK to use A2 stainless bolts to replace the original subframe bolts?
Thanks
Mark
