I am looking to visit spain in a few weeks on my bike (ferry to the north from UK) and have no idea of where to go?
Can any of you riders out there tell me some of your favourite places I should visit and roads I should take.
Last year I went to Crete via Italy etc and had a fantastic time due to advice from this site.

Thanks

Stick to the north (Pico de Europa) & the Pyrenees, a little cooler at this time of year.

yup Pyrennes is fantastic, never been to the Picos myself but hear they are good.

I got back from the Pyrennes 3 weeks ago. Picture of rush hour Pyrennes:

No particular towns, we just stop once we've had enough for the day! The road in the pic is in Andorra, but Andorra town itself is a bit of a dump unless you are after cheap electrical goods, or bike accessories.
