Spanner size for evo brakes

Hi all,

Got most of the way through changing the brake fluid the other weekend which was not difficult based on the instructions in here. Well as long as you exclude the sheared off rear bleed nipple...

Anyhow ran into a bit of a drama ref bleeding the control circuits as I couldn't find a spanner that would fit the 6 bleed nipples. Does anyone happen to know what size I need? I would guess possibly 7-8mm but not sure.

If you cannot see what size it is, take some callipers and measure it.

Or you could try different spanners until you find the one that fits.

If you managed to shear off a bleed nipple and can't work out what spanner size to use, should you be allowed near the brakes?

I would guess possibly 7-8mm but not sure.

I reckon that's right.

As for destroying things, it's the only way to learn the limits
