Spare key??

I have two metal keys and a plastic one.. Is the plastic one OK to use as a spare and keep somewhere while I am travelling in France this week? or, should I use the spare metal one?

Thats the whole idea of it. It is a wallet key so you can carry a spare in case you lose the other (or use it in your spare ant ring when the one fitted fails).

Take the metal one.

You will feel a tool fool when you lose one metal key, then snap the plastic one when the seat lock (inevitably) jams.

I take all three, two metals and the plastic one in my wallet.

My plastic key fell apart and lost the magic microchip. It now unlocks the bike, which then says "EWS" and nothing else. Take all the proper keys.

If you're travelling with a friend, why don't you carry each others spare keys?? That way, if one of you loses your keys, the other will have the spare. If you BOTH lose your keys, should you be allowed out of the house on your own????

If you carry all your keys on one ring, then you are more likely to lose ALL 3....

Consider a spare luggage key too.....

I always try and not to lose anything...the mate in question is constantly losing things, so i don't want to entrust him with my key....
