Morning all,
Tried to start my 1100gs this morning and it turns over fine but no spark. It absolutely hammered it down last night and of course I forgot to put the cover on...so I'm thinking rain ingress somewhere.

Any ideas where to look? I've coated any exposed wiring in WD40 and the sun is out so hopefully will dry out a bit.
The fuel pump primes the system, all lights, electrics etc work as normal...just no spark. Swapped around the relays to no avail.
Any wisdom or ideas would be much appreciated!
Had a bit of a search on here and found some info on failed hall sensors, which has brought up another question. Should I be able to start the engine on my 1100 with it in gear and the clutch pulled in? I've never been able to do this I have to put it into neutral.
I'm going to take the tank off to have a butchers underneath (to see if anything is glaringly obvious)
Thanks
Rob

. Now no spark or fuel again, so I am definitely thinking Hall sensor!
