I know it is a real long shot, but is there anyone in and around the dublin area who would have a spare set of plug leads for a 1990 R100 GS......please

go and nick ogs :D

mail him he'll know

:mmmm yes - and he also knows Mrs Og lives there too.

"hot wires" have got nuthin' on Her!

Give me a call - i got lengths of lead here - can sort you out - i'd recommend getting new 'end caps'* (?) from a motor factors to go with them. (you can re-use the old ones - but they're cheap.

*the little solder-on yokes that touch the end in the coil.

First Prize to Jay for the most unsubtle Thread Hijack.

PS. I just ordered a new set of leads form Motorworks to save any hassle, probably not going to be able to use the bike sor couple of days anyway.

Apologies for hijackery. :blush
i was a little... 'tense'. :augie

Jay,
Thank you for the thought - but i'm as broke as ever.
taking tomorrow to see if St. Jude and a toolkit will revive a Bike.

p.s;
Any good ideas for a carb diaphragm for a Suzuki Savage LS650? :nenau

TIA

tried them - Thanks for the link :thumb2

BUT,
neither is good / has what i need.
The DR650 is similar - but not the same when it comes to carb diagphram.
the LS 650 uses an 'all in one' slide AND diaphgram damnit! :banghead:

best.... actually the ONLY price i've seen so far is €120 plus p+p :eek

aye looks like the inside of an su carb you get metal bits hence the 120

robbin feckers - all for a bit of rubber

Dear Santa - as well as a driveshaft, please may i have..

made me appreciate the simple things....
like the price of Airhead carb bits. :banghead:

oh well - it makes up for it in other ways. :)
