After fitting a new fuel filter at the weekend and doing the tank filler modification, I re-fitted the tank after checking for fuel leeks, all well, and the bike started on the first go, I let it idle for a few minutes and a couple of throttle blips, job done.
Back into the garage, the next day got it out to go to work, it started but ran like a bears a**e, after a quick check took the plugs out, one was black and wet, the other black and dry, put an old set of plugs in and hay presto, ran a treat.
The plugs are only four months old and are the Splitfire one's, does anyone have any idea if the filter job would have any bearing on the plug failure? or is it just a possible coincidence?, never had one of these plugs fail before, may look into returning them as they have a billion year warranty with them.
