Spark plug sizes ... twin spark 1150?

Hi all,

Just about to service the bike and ordered Iridium plugs from Motor Works.

Question is.....

Are the spark plugs different sizes on the twin spark? is the upper plug a bigger diameter than the lower one

I ordered what motor works suggest and they are different sizes

ie... top plugs look 12mm and bottom sparks 10mm.

I'm not a total numpty and have serviced my previous 1150 several times but that was not a twin spark.

My currant steed has been fettled by North Oxford up til now so am a bit confused as to the different sizes.

Yes.. i've seen pictures and they're definitely different sizes.

Motorworks generally know what they're talking about btw.

The main plug is 14mm, the secondary is 12mm

If it's NGK Iridiums you ordered the main is part number BKR7EIX and the secondary DCPR8EIX

Thanks for the reply chaps,

I didn't want to start and find I had some parts that were wrong.

What threw me was my mucker with a 1200 said his were the same size so thought I'd best check with the experts here

Why not just take them out and have a look? then no problems with getting
the right one.
