SPC Farringdon

Went to SPC in Farringdon Nr Alton last week, just for a browse. Oops, came home on an 1150 GS Adventure. Gotta say the service was second to none.
I'd read that BMW offered good service but this was a real suprise. As I hand'nt intended to buy a bike that day I had none of the documentation normally required but they sorted everything. Even insisting on driving up to Bicester to collect the docs and panniers from the Triumph Tiger I had part exed.
Sorry this is a bit long but they were brilliant and I know we are all quick to moan if the service is poor so I thought I'd redress the balance a bit.

Ah, that explains the Tiger interloper in the midst of the sea of GSes last week!

If anyone is after a GS (12) or a 1150 GSA, the place is full of them at the moment, might be worth making an offer and seeing how you go ... one's particularly heavily loaded with Touratech trinkets from memory, lots of sensible bits!

Gotta agree. The SPC experience was very good when I picked up my new bike recently. Got what I considered to be a good deal as well. Unlike a couple of much more local dealers who's line 'we do not need to do deals on BMW's' does not make you feel like immediately shaking hands and handing over the best part of ten grand!

Gotta say, I like cynical. Probably right too, but if I come away with what I think is a good deal and feel Ive been looked after ( Iknow I pay for it) then surely everyone wins.
