A while back I started a thread bemoaning the fact that SPC wouldn't return my calls and had potentially lost a sale on an R1200S. I decided to give them another try last week and am now the happy owner of a shiney new bike :clap . SPC did me a really good deal and even dropped the bike off at my home address, as I had a problem getting over to Alton to pick it up.

I don't know if they happened to read the original thread but Tim, the salesman, was very helpful and phoned me when he said he would.

So credit where it's due, thanks SPC :thumb

Well done, nice to see credit where credits due :clap

Good luck with the new bike :thumb

I thought the first thread was strange as I have only had top service from them.
Glad you got sorted, enjoy :thumb

Thanks Shep/Les.

It can be very frustrating when your calls aren't returned but having spent most of last Saturday morning there I can kind of see why - they do get very busy.

I'm well pleased with the R1200S though :bounce1

I have been dealing with SPC for the past 5 years despite living in Bristol and have always received top class service, esp from Tim and Rob. I have bought all my bikes, both past and present from there and a very satisfied customer, despite it been a mission for me to get to. Thumbs up.

Just like to add to this, because a "pat on the back is just as valueble as a kick up the arse" for any dealer, had my first bike from SPC many years ago no probs and good service sadley for me I later opted for closer dealer in south london' bad move....
On the phone to SPC few days ago not to buy but for info only, and no trouble for Andy to sort it for me, whereas my local south london dealer (Who I did buy a new bike from) need a good slap to wake 'em up..

Well if...

they read this, i would still like to have on record the crap! treatment i recieved over a year ago when i foolishly attemped to buy a HONDA F6C. Not been back since, lots of other dealers to spend money at...

I bought my 1100 from them.
Whilst they offered me a crap trade in on an 1100R (bit too used for their showroom so sold privately), I was dealing with Tim who was very good and had just started there, got 2 BM jackets and various bits thrown in so I rode off into the sunset a happy customer. :moped:
Does get a bit too frantic there on Saturdays tho, I call in mid week, lot quieter! :thumb

I dealt with Tim when i bought my 1150GS last October - nice chap very helpful and informative :thumb Shame about the other bloke a dealt with initially complete opposite, just wish i could remember his name

Bloody typical bootneck, no memory and rubbish at spelling. :D

Things improved when he left.

See my post on the under new ownership thread..... First experience I've had with SPC.... and must say it has been the worst dealer experience I've EVER received! And I thought people in the old days like Motorcycle City would never be surpassed.... oh how wrong I was....

Sorry X, I meant to say things improved when "Jeremy" left, the smug tosser in bike sales. Pretty irrelevant topic now that SPC have allegedly 'folded'.
