Whilst reading another thread, my memory was jerked into offering this very handy snippet.
As some of you may know, I recently rebuilt my avdenture, and, in doing so, needed the front bikini painted, and also the two touratech side panels to match the bike.
my bike is silver ( or whatever they call it ), and, wait for it.........
Halfords ford moondust silver is bang on the right colour.
And, if you prep properly and apply 3 coats without and laquer, it even comes out with the same satin feel and sheen, rather than a shine.
Now I'm no painter, but my sideys and front panel look mighty fine thanks to this paint.
There you go. Hows that for a good tip.
