Have the driving standards improved so much that the cameras are no longer making any revenue ??
fixed cameras are expensive to maintain. Not many left around here or where I used to live in Gloucestershire. Prone to mishaps and need to send people out to clean lenses, calibrate them etc. No indication in that report about stopping the use of mobile units that are a lot cheaper to maintain, rarely get vandalised and can be rotated around high revenue sites at ease.

I got the impression it was about mobile units.![]()

Most of which could easily just be dummy cameras like most that are set up in roadworks. They don't mention, I think, the beloved average speed cameras on the A9 and A90![]()
Anyone heard of someone caught by the average cameras around Crianlarich to Tyndrum?
They talk of nothing else around here.
I find the A9 in a Transporter both frustrating and baffling to be honest,They don't mention, I think, the beloved average speed cameras on the A9 and A90![]()
