Speed wobble

Up to 80mph the bike is smooth, no issues, after that it gets a pronounced wobble (85+). It almost feels like a combination of it surging and a wheel being out of balance (having never had a bike wheel out of balance it’s hard to comment on whether it is or not), but with a car tyre out of balance you can normally drive through it, this continues to get worse.

Are the tyres Dunlop?

My 2007 GSA started being a bit "light" over 100mph in the last couple of years.
Cornering was better with more petrol in the tank somehow as it added weight to the front of the bike.

No self-induced wobble, but if you shook gently the handlebars around those speeds it would wobble a tiny bit (wouldn't do it before).
Another annoying thing was the lack of feeling from the front when cornering. It led me to not trust the bike too much over time and to "develop" a few small riding bad habits.

TKC-70 and Ohlins TTX both on front and back. Experienced this with the loaded bike, original windscreen in various positions.

I recently had the Ohlins re-set up on two of my bikes and the GS has improved considerably (spring preload on the front has been increased). Probably what is left of the problem is due to the TKC.

A few years ago I hit a car getting into the roundabout. Rode the GS a bit with both a bent wheel/tyre and it vibrated a lot, but no wobble.
I'd start from the shocks set-up on your bike.
Ignore the pressure sensors.

Good luck. :)

The front ball joint hasn't been mentioned. Is the boot split? If so, water and crap can get in and cause problems. Just a thought. you can, anyway, lift the boot and squirt some
GT85 in there to see if that has any effect. When the steering starts to go weird have you tried changing position in the sddle to change the airflow around and over you.
Sliding back or forwards in the seat can have a marked effect on the airflow. Just my tuppenceworth.

Very true.
Replaced mine a few years ago.
Bike would wobble badly in between rapid left/right corners at speed.
