but.. speeding fines from Spain follow you home.
I thought they were cons at first, as i had a text con about parking in Germany which I had not done, but i did some research and as of March 2023 there has been an agreement between Spain and GB to share driver info and the letters are genuine.

I expect living in Starmer’s Gulag and his desire to please his European “friends” with closer integration, there will be more agreements. It will be as you were before Brexit.

It's more of a commercial rather than political decision as each organisation accessing the database has to pay a fee per look-up. Brexit only means that DVLA is no longer compelled to issue details but there is no restriction on DVLA making a commercial arrangement.

oh, and one hopes this commercial arrangement not only includes an access fee but a percentage of the paid fines as well

The thing I never worked out was that there were 4 of us all doing the same speed I was lead bike and only I got done

maybe your conspirators had moody plates and a Tesla owner got a surprise? I know someone here who stuck a bit of black tape to his plate en vacances to alter the speeling
