speedo gremlins r1150 rockster

hi guys can anyone throw some some light on this for me please
my r1150 rockster stood still in neutral if i rev it hard the speedo spins round to about thirty mph ,its like its acting as a rev counter
i have just returned from garmish in southeren germany and the bike has been faultless with all day autobahn speeds , allthough at say 90 to 100mph the speedo needle did flicker a bit
any help please

Don't rev it hard whilst stood still

Its electronic and controlled from the ABS (if you still have it??)

Bad earth ??

Bad circuitBoard in Speedo

Over voltage from Alternator (Should not go over `15 volts )

its got no abs mate, but i will check the charging rate thanks

charging at 14.4 volts,so that all seems fine
