SPIII card reader prob

Tried searching site to no avail.
Since updating Mapsource I am unable to use the Garmin card reader. It seems to think the card reader is the C Drive for some reason. auto searching for device on PC from Mapsource brings up no sucess either. Do I have to reset some drivers or re-install or somesuch? Effectively it means I can't transfer the maps to card for device which is somewhat limiting. I do also have a generic card reader plugged into the same hub (was always there). The Garmin card reader allways worked before. Any advice welcome.

I guessed that any driver updates would be bundled in the Mapsource update I carried out a while back......silly me Ta - I'll reoprt back
