Split Icons

Can anyone help with this problem - In My Computer and any document the associated icon is split central and vertical and the vertically split left side is now placed to the right of the split. I am not sure where to look - System is XP SP2 and Office 2000. Tried System Restore but no change.

Icon Cache?

Looks as though your icon cache is corrupted. Try looking here:

http://smallvoid.com/article/windows-icon-cache.html

Hope this helps. If you not used to the registry, I would suggest you avoid any of the registry options and try the others first.

Hi exeter-lad - You were spot on. Had forgotten about Tweak UI !!!
Ran the Rebuild Icons and was sorted.
