Hi folks

Well i finaly got round to fitting some 35mm bar raisers and new
top brake pipe. bled the brakes all nice n hard.

Then thought whill im here (at work) ill clean out the calipers n pistons
pipped the pistons out with the air line gave them a clean.. heres
probably where i went wrong. I cleaned and lubricated the pistons with
3 in 1 silicone spray put them all back together and spent the next hour and a half trying to get a desent brake lever i even bled the abs pump.
Ive got to the point now where there are no more bubbles coming out
but the brakes still feel spongy what do you think i should do? :mmmm

be careful

with sprays & things on brake seals etc. Some have a detrimental effect on the rubber and can cause them to perish. Try taping or tieing the brake lever back against the bars (as if it was permanently applied) leave it overnight then remove the tape. This can sometimes allow minute bubbles to slowly come to the top of the system, venting into the reservoir.
