SportIntegral Helmet

Has anyone bought the new SportIntegral helmet and if so is it as quiet as BMW claim? I quite fancy a matt black one myself.

Yeah, nice but mists up a bit so now ride with it slightly open. A bit difficult to open the visor with gloves on...

and I have to take it off to have a smoke which means glasses off first. Painful and expensive otherwise...

... they are supposedly bringing out of oplychromatic visor as well but am sure that wont be for sale in the UK....

Is it comfy and quiet..?
Can you fit a Fog City to eliminate the misting.
Do tell.................

yeah tis quiet and comfy and light. Also it is easy to put glasses on once it is on your head.. mind you at this point I am usually on my knees looking for where the glasses have fallen!

I use it most occaisons now but will use the System IV for my trip to Spain just for the convenience of a flip lid.

If it's as quiet as they say then I'm definately getting one. Noise is becoming a big problem for me, even with earplugs. I am hoping to persuade my local dealer to let me take one for a test ride.

Having tried one on, my first thought was that I wouldn't be able to fit my fog city mask underneath. There is a lot of padding in the chin area - more padding = less noise I guess.

I would certainly agree that it is quiet. I bought mine today and am very pleased with it.

I tried a Schuberth S1 yesterday which was very light and a good fit. I know that the BM model is made by Sch but does the BM have the drop down sun visor as on the concept?

The S1 does and works well removing the need for shades

I believe the BM is cheaper though as I was quoted £319 for the S1
