Fritz and I had a quick spin around the Howardian Hills and up onto the NY Moors

Weather was grand and the views were clear, we could see York Minster and the cooling towers of Drax and Ferrybridge Power stations

All the trails were 'white' roads and other trails and all the backroads around Malton you could conjure up

Nothing too fancy, just a grand day out in our back yard, never more than 25 miles from home

Onwards to the North Yorkshire Moors, near Hutton Le Hole and another trail - badly washed out in heavy rain and quite tricky now:eek:

more

last few, the first a rarity - a new one for JB.

Remember coming down here with Chris along with Migsel and Gecko at the Rosedale do and suddenly Gecko vanished - fell off path in to corn...he was quick mind, up and on bike before Migsel had got to his camera :D

Surprisingly I still find new bits of BOATS that I haven't ridden before - still some to come :clap

Always good to find a new lane or two and a pleasure to ride with you again - nice & relaxed and lots of snippets of historic info, cheers Fritz :thumby::clap

Wish I could spend an afternoon playing off road, looked a cracking ride JB.... :beerjug:

It was Ash, nice and scenic
Plenty of similar on Tarmac in your neck of the woods mooching through pretty Wiltshire & Dorset villages

You're still riding aren't you Ash  In which case, from the photos, you'd have no probs on any of those trails, they're no more difficult than riding on tarmac (just a bit slower :) ).

Get your arse down to the Peaks and I'll take you out on some similar (easy) trails :thumb2
