Hi I have recently a 1150 GS and a few bits I want to do with it what I my options for a good realible set of fog/spotlights to fit on the engine guard that are not to expensive also what could I do with the seat to make it more comfortable would I have to invest in a better quality seat ????:thumb2

Hi Drifter, is it spotlights you want or additional marker lights (drl's).

For main beam the crash bars aren't the best place to site them.

I use rectangular ring spotlights mounted on a migsel stainless steel bar mounted under the oil cooler on my r1100gs

wired into the main bean via an extra relay

Pah, for high beam it's these puppies http://24x7diy.com/product_info.php/cPath/23_45/products_id/256

Road signs blind a bit but these things are in another world of bright, totally drown out the HIDs. They have good range, but HID the main beam and you will get better distance overall with excellent wide spread. If you buy them you will be really disappointed at their size, hook em to power and you will be stunned :thumb

Send your seat to Tony Archer in huddersfield he will adjust your seat
I have a set of spot lights I bought on here going cheap

could I have some info on spot lights cheers.

What info do you want, I've had mine 2 years and they are the brightest lights I've ever seen on a vehicle. I cast shadows in the daytime with them :D

Small (2 inch diameter and 4-5 inches long) aluminium body. They aren't the most waterproof, but I've never had a leak through torrential rains.

The best upgrade if you are riding at night.

Not to be used as marker lights though or fogs as they are far too bright.

These are described as 'off road' in the link, so presumably they are not legal for road use.:blast
