Spots swap?

Hi all

So what have ye all done to upgrade your spots to led?

Im thinking a straight snip and solder on new ones but wanting to keep the original switch etc. Any unforeseen issues with this such as current etc?

There are a lot of led replacement ones on AliExpress exactly the same as the stock ones. I've been thinking of getting some as yesterday I changed the hid bulbs and ballast on mine and one of the bulb holders has broken on the spotlight. Taped it up for now but it'll let water and dirt in I think

How much???
The led ones on AliExpress are about £30.00 or so. Spec says. 40watts 6000k and 8.000 lumens. Could be total for the pair. But 20 watt LED is pretty bright

I bought a set of the spotlights suggested above. A little smaller than stock, but bolt straight onto the stock spotlight mount though. it buy with the extra bracket for another way to mount them. Very bright with a good flat beam cut off well worth the money

I just swapped the O.E bulbs for led ones ,a lot brighter

Cheers man ill grab those spots as fitting to original mounts is a plus. Ill be getting a full led unit as i found the cyclops i fitted dazzled the bejaysus out of everyone, including the iss!

They look the same as the ones I bought. I guess the only difference might be the plugs. I soldered mine to other connections I had anyway so I didn't need to disturb the wires on the loom
