Ferry Booked:
I've just booked my ferry:
Brittany Ferries
17th May Portsmouth > St Malo 20:15
20th May Cherbourg > Portsmouth (hi-speed) 17:00
cost £164.50... ( But i have booked myself a cabin, would be around £40 cheaper if you have a chair thingy)
so, i'm committed.....
i have two bunks in the cabin, and am happy to share although i do snore like a bastard......first request for the spare bunk gets it......

I've just paid an extra 20 quid for a cabin at the other end of the boat....

Not coming back with you guys though as the misses is coming over on the Sat night ferry and we'll meet up on the Sunday and spend a week mooching around.

well the winter building works continue........ no bathroom at present and the new fosse is going in this week..... will all be finished by May (hopefully) so we can give the fosse a good test run!!!!
the kitchen is being moved and a wood burner is going into the lounge .... so, if nothing else we can burn stuff whilst having a
..... esp if its pissing down!
one other thing if nobody objects...
could you bring your own sleeping bags?? and if possible a pillow cover......we have loads of pillows, but if each person brings his own pillow cover and sleeping bag it will save me having to change loads of bedding.....

with regards to the guys travelling on the Thursday Portsmouth to St Malo boat..... i live ten minutes from the port?? (Just off the A3 at Havant) if i PM you my address to you want to meet up here for a cuppa and a pee allowing us to arrive and check in together??? or do you want to meet at the ferry port?

As for beds....... well this is the situation.... we have one large room with a double bed, and a blow up mattress on the floor, i'll take the blow up mattress and will devise a "selection" system for the best bed in the house... probably a lottery...... then we have another large room with three single beds, and a smaller room with two single beds..... so, i can sleep six in beds, i'll take the floor.... so seven in total. we also have room for four tents in the Garden and three spaces reserved...if its wet and horrible, you can sleep on the living room floor if required in a indoor camping styleeee....

forgot to mention....... for you campers.......... if you prefer your camping a little more "wild"........ i own a large field with trees etc 2 minutes walk up the lane...... if you want to camp there fine.... i could probably fit about 200 tents in!
