First time the bike has been washed since november!
Been riding through the winter and more trails then road
so it was bloody filthy:D

Got the old pressure washer out and gave it a good seeing too.
I am not careless when it comes washing the bike with a power washer so i
avoid the wheel bearings and other bits

BUT

Me GS stickers came off:eek:
So naturally i had to pick the rest off LOOKS MEAN NOW

Looks pretty damn clean to me, course, didn't see the before but assume it was pretty grubby. Did you use any cleaning product or just water? :thumb2

Yes plenty of autoglym

TOP STUFF :thumb2

just crap stickers lol

It looks pretty good without the GS stickers:thumb2

I do think that the stickers shout "LOOK AT ME I'M A GS... HONEST!"

I hope mine might come off accidently when I do my next clean:augie

Some one had to ask so may as well be me,what hand guards are there you have on,are they better than the crap BMW ones,as in do they keep the snow, rain and wind of the fingers?

The handguards are touratwat with the extra deflectors. About 80 notes all in so good value..
They are fine with bad weather likes of rain and great for off road but i never
ride in the snow :P Cos it hardly bloody snow's over here...:thumb2

Jason been a bit busy lately, I'm still waiting for a new chain!!

set about working in it today, new chain and sprockets, rear pads and grease the swing arm bushes.:augie
rear pads went in ok.
swing arm bushes dry as a bone ( to be expected of bmw )
chain and the rear sprocket went on ok, but the front sprocket!
the retaining bolt wasnt that tight on removal, got it off and the sprocket is stuck to the shaft?:nenau rather than force it i thought i'd leave it util i got a puller so put the bolt back in which then sheared in the shaft!
back to jason again! this will be about the 10th time in 13k miles!

was going to say just that... would look a whole lot meaner if it was totally stealth black :D All those F800 angles make it look like the motorcycle version of a stealth bomber or one of the bikes out of the new terminator film :thumb2

yes, it can't be too long before i spray the yellow panels black. GS stickers came off mine months ago...think they're terrible.
