I am having problems with "CWS HomeSearch" spywear. Have tried to clean it out but without success. Looked at the free down load sites Lavasoft,Spybot etc but the down loads just tell me I have a problem and need to purchase the said product to clear it out.
Any one know of a free down load that can clear this junk from my PC. Have got a fire wall set up tighter now but need to shift the stuff out.

Edit:- If you haven't got it, then also consider the free anti-virus stuff from AVG.

Thanks Phil. Loaded the Lavasoft SE and it has got rid of 95% of the junk but still having trouble with CWS.HomeSearch popping up every 10/15 min. It gets blocked from accessing the net by the computer virus/spyware but still can't get it out of the system. Will have another search and see what I can find. Thanks

Google for 'CWS Shredder' it's a free download that should remove it completely.Worked for me anyway

Had a similar problem lately and downloaded a free 1 month trial of Kaspersky and used that to clear out the spyware. Might be worth a shot.
