I use scotch brite, great for cleaning weapons and I discovered great on exhaust pipes.
Whenever I go to stores its one for the cleaning kit, one for the bike

Quick tip...if you do use autosol use a block of wood with a rag wrapped around it like a sanding block....makes the job sooooo much easier.
