Stainless steel brake disk bolts

The round-headed bolts securing my front disk on my 1150GS are a horrible brown colour - I think it's called rust, apparently a standard finish on many GS bolts..... I'm looking to get them replaced with Stainless steel ones. Anyone know a source and the torque settings? Thanks

Is it a good idea to use ss bolts on the disc? I put ss bolts on my brake calipers - one of them snapped Too brittle.

Too brittle - really? What have others done in replacing/improving these bolts as they are a bit of an eyesore now

I should clarify - I'm not knocking the kits themselves, they're excellent and my bike is dripping with Steptoe's stainless steel! Just querying ss on brake discs/calipers.
