During the recent rebuild of my R100GS-PD, I have replaced almost every fastener with stainless steel fasteners. I bought a pack of over 100 ss fasteners on eBay and whilst quite useful I found the pack includes scores of very small sizes for which I found no use whatsoever. In addition I bought packs of different sizes of socket headed cap screws (Allen screws) in various sizes as well as Nyloc nuts and washers. I've also Copaslipped every bolt as ss has a tendency to slightly bind. I know when undoing existing ss bolts, they let go with a loud crack.

For some of the more unusual fasteners I can't speak more highly enough of Chris Shaw Engineering (www.shawstainless.co.uk) whose fasteners always arrive within 24hrs. He also provides an A4 sheet listing specialised fasteners for R80/R100GS and R100GS/PD. Yesterday the carb top cover screws and torque arm lower bolt and nyloc nut arrived. His socket headed cap screws are individual cleaned up on a lathe to remove embossed lettering too. The complete 43 part kit for the bike costs £140. Top man!

That's good to hear as I just ordered some bits from there last night for my R65. Got an email this morning that the nuts have already been dispatched.:)

I'll probably get a lot more from them but I was just testing with a small first order for some bevel drive nuts.
