Perhaps this should be in forum rant: Mod', your call.
In the meantime: I don't think that any one on this site will hav failed to notice that Beemers are expensive as bikes go, but build and design mostly justify the cost. But, its becoming increasingly obvious that, despite a hefty purchase bill, half the kit on the beemer isn't up to the job!
I washed my bike yesterday and I found dried splodges of the black crap off the road everywhere. on top of the beak, on top of the tank (!), behind the cylinders
, in between the shock and gearbox(behind the mud flap) Whats the point of a fancy looking rear mud flap that doesn't flap any mud and as for the front: their are two mudguards, essentially!! And the screen makes my headshake as if I have a vibrator suck up my nose. With the costs of the bike new and the look of the various parts, you'd think they'd actually had some thought spent on them...
So here's why this is in the mods section: Is there any aftermarket kit out there that will do a better job, or am I doomed to either a have a dirty bike, or have to clean it with a 5 bristled toothbrush in order to get in all the corners?
