Hi folks,
Has anyone out there tried standard length 1150gs ohlins on an 1150gsa,if so results and comments welcomed please.
Especially were seat height and handling are concerned, even though i had a low seat made i am still struggling with the height sometimes.
Joanne is pushing to get a new 1200,but i really do like the 1150 gsa.

Ive got a standard length rear Ohlin. Works ok. Lowers by about an inch.
Never noticed any difference in handling.

You will have to get a standard centre stand unless you are a bodybuilder and like your front wheel six inches in the air. You will also need the stand spring and the flat plate between spring and pivot. Its shorter or longer than the adv. I cant remember which.
I just made one from a bit of alloy to the correct length.

If you look at a pic of my bike you will get the jist.

I'm thinking about going up and putting ADV shocks on mine... which would mean I'd have to swap my GS centrestand etc. for a GSA one... can I see a potential swap???
