Hi guys, as you know its very very easy to bend the pins on the mini din connector to the headset.I thought you might be interested in using one of the headsets made by Intaride. Instead of using mini dins they use a police style jack plug, and I defy anyone to break one of these. After speaking to Intaride and lending them a Starcom they have produced an extension lead that will connect one of their headsets to the Starcom.I have no connection to Intaride apart from what you read here,I tried their headset and lead out this week on a trip to France(in the rain)and can report it all worked as expected.

Certainly cheaper than the Starcom Speakers:thumb

They are bringing out there own intercom next month, so it will be interesting to compare them to the current starcom/autocom offerings.

My friend had a lot of trouble with their Evo intercom (he couldn`t get any volume out of it)Even though they took it back for repair they kept saying there was nothing wrong with it.He sold it and bought a Starcom digital.
