I went along one of my favourite routes today, first time in about 8 months.
Along Loch Ness to Fort Augustus, then turn off at Glen Garry heading towards the west. The Glen Garry follows onto the Glen Shiel road which is pretty atrocious. Never mind a racing line, I spent most of my time watching the large pot holes and strips of missing tarmac.
Talk about temporary filling in of pot holes, we had repairs on repairs with tarmac slapped down anywhere without any thought.
it's a lovely route to take you to the west but if you do go down this way take care.
