Was out and about enjoying some serious mud yesterday.

I wear goggles virtually all the time but as we all know they sometimes get completely covered and you cant see Feck all .

Stop and clean them dont ride without them .I have just had the pleasure of sitting down the eye hospital for the last 3 hours to be told theres nothing in your eye but you have a loverly scratch right across the Cornea .

Fucking irritating to say the least its like having grit in your eye all the time .

And the cream blurs your vision too :spitfire :spitfire :spitfire

Preaching to the converted here my old chap. Playing around on a mate's bike without goggles once (they were with me  ) and managed to get a tendril from a bramble whipped across my eyeballs.
Now that smarts!
You have my sympathy. Best thing to do is keep them shut, ipod, darkened room, tlc (if available :D )

That wasn't 'serious' mud, I've seen the pictures and that was MENTAL mud. Water up to the top of a KTM950 Adv seat...!!!!

Hope you get well soon.

"There's mud in ya eye"......:D

Not nice. How long to heal?
A scratched Cornea is painful. Believe it or not I scratched my Cornea coming back from Llangollen just by rubbing my eye. As the doctor said they are very sensitive and easily damaged, so I had to wear an eye patch for 1 day but the good thing was that the discomfort only lasted ine night. Within 36 hours I was feeling normal. :nenau

Heal time is only a couple of days .

Its just hassle thats all ,

I wear industrial safety glasses, and find them much better than goggles for trail riding.
