Just Received my Stebel Magnum Horn from Nippy Normans, delivery took longer than I expected but never mind. Anyway , my gripes are 1. Only one Spade Connector included,2. No instructions on how to remove the O.E. Connector from the O.E. Horn,3. Rather vague wiring diagram which shows in line Fuse, 4. No mention of Polarity. I don,t want to cut the original Wiring Harness and only ordered the Horn as the Blurb on Nippy Normans Site said that I could use the O.E. Horn Connector. Why don,t charge a few Quid more and include an adaptor so as to make installation just a straight "Plug In" affair.
Disapointed

TIP FOR OWNERS OF BMW MOTORCYCLES WITH THE CAN BUS SYSTEM
When fitting the Magnum horn to these bikes there is no adverse effect on the Can-Bus system. There are two methods of connection:
1. Cut off the original horn connector and attach spade connectors to the two lose wires. These then connect onto the Magnum horn
OR
2. Keep the horn connector on the harnesss, remove the corrisponding connector on the OE horn and attach this connector to the new Magnum horn for a really neat connection.

I bought mine on an impulse buy from halfrauds, one nut, original spade connectors, proper job and bloody loud too, only difference is there are no round bits to accomodate the rubber sealing shrouds like the original duck caller.

Used my Stebel Nautilus in earnest last week when two school kids larking about on the pavement oblivious to anything and everything stepped out into the road with their backs to me, I had all the time in the world having seen them from a long way off and sort of half expected them to end up in the roadway, the look of shock, nay it was absolute terro:eek:r on the one kids face when I let them have a 3 second blast from about 2 yards away was magic, I now consider the horn to have paid for itself:thumb2
