Cant get one here in Ireland. The stebel importer wont bring them in. Do any of you know of a shop that takes credit cards and could post a horn to me please. All help would be appreciated.

Hi Luke
I have one you can have. I bought one last week but as I have the touratech engine bars & a light bar under the beak it won't fit so I'm planning to get the smaller magnum. I am coming over for the Irish bash in August so could bring it over. Send me a PM if your interested

I also hve H&B bars and a light bar and no problem fitting it in.

hi Jimb

with the engine bars I have there is a brace between the L & R bars high up and just forward of the front spring which restricts the space behind the forks and the light bar restricts the space in front of the forks, so I have to go with the smaller unit :tears

Help please....

I still can't get mine to work. I've tested the relay, wired up as suggested but not a 'parp' in ear shot.

There ain't no current to the horn when I press the horn button.

I know the horn works, as a direct power feed to it triggers it, but I'm a bit stuck. Could the handle bar horn sw be buggered? If so, what do I do to test and or replace it? It worked on the OEM horn before I cut the wires.

I can't see this being the case though. Any thoughts (in easy tech speak) would be really appreciated

Kind regards

Colin

I always use a proder device, (a point in the tip with a fuse that lights up, a wire out of the top with a crock clip on the end, to earth) tec name a circuit tester, then I know if there is power there or not, I am no expert so I go through all the live wire's in order after that I would check that you have the right wire from the horn button conected.

Hope this helps.

Fitted mine last week. Very impressed......
I made alluminium frame to hold horn which fits in space under tank where ABS bits and bobs go on equiped bikes.
Tank does not seem to muffle noise at all.....
Original mounting point just seemed a bit weak for heavier unit plus relay, wiring and horn is tucked away in the dry...

Had my stebel about a month, great ,very loud! Then at Princetown it stopped working, seems to be running ok when you press the horn button but makes noise like a wet fart:D
anyone else had any bother?

Oh - if not been in major rain check the connectors - may just be a poor earth or feed.
