In an effort to get just that bit more comfortable i have acquired a set of nippy normans Radius Risers second hand

http://www.nippynormans.com/product...ers-r1200gsadv08-on-and-2010-on-hp2-grp-1208s

after fitting, the hand guards brackets on one side hit the tank in the position i want and pretty much all others. :blast

I have run out of time (patience) today, is there any lock adjustment on the adventure if so where is it?

if not i will probably want to fit another type of bar (Renthals etc) has anyone done this and move on the Radius Risers.

Thanks Allan

I have Rox risers on mine and the handguards hit the screen. TBH its not an issue other than MOT when I simply put the screen forwards to keep them happy.

A steering hard part is worth having to protect the standard lock stops if the bike does a low speed tumble. It also slightly reduces the steering lock.

Thanks for the reply , so pretty much the only way to reduce the lock is to use an after market hard part from TT or wunderlich ?

Or it's fit a pair of after market bars. Has anyone done this ? Any suggestions on makes dimensions etc?

I'd suggest the Wunderlich steering stops/protectors, I have them on my bike. A much more elegant solution that the Touratech item IMO.
