Do I polish them or paint them BMW blue to match my 1150SE?

And presumably I should remove the old adventure bars, but where do I put my feet on motorways then?

I'll whip down to Halfords and get them to mix up a can of SE blue. We can share it!
Nah.....second thoughts, Bryn's right.
Intersting though will they fit underneath the crash bars or are they now dead meat?

I think they do fit under the existing bars, but I thought the point was to avoid the old flippy-flippy syndrome cause by the corner of the bars digging into the tarmac.

Crash bars

Yes, get rid of these things, great if it falls over but have a decent hi speed prang and it will take off! with disasterous results. Just flys up in the air a complete somersault and smashes head lights, screen and bulk head and bars, not cheap fix!. After I'd done this every one came out warning about it!
bloody dogs!!!. The only great comment came from the head of Toutatec in
Chillie "thats what a gs should look like!.

Used Smoothrite 'satin black' on mine.. as I had some already. worked just fine.

Head gards

I would like a pair of dirty ones so they match, have to clean the rest of the bike now.
