What's the furthest you've ever ridden in a single sitting? 450miles was about my record but it was about to be surpassed by two days of 750miles across Spain and France accompanied by Neil, Rob, Casper, Jason, Roberto, Peter and Donnie.

The rain started at Le Mans and stayed with us until Madrid where the temperature dropped to zero before blossoming to 18 in Algeciras. That first beer in Bayonne at the end of day one simply evaporated even before it hit the back of my throat. Several more would be needed to block out the stereophonic snoring coming from the team. As you'll be aware DakarDC suffered a horrendous accident in Southern Spain and we all wish him well.

The trip was excellent in every way - great company, stunning roads including a very special "off-souk" route through Marrakech, breathtaking views and plenty of enterainment. I would strongly recommend this Dash to everyone who hasn't yet been to Morocco.

Any way, the story in pictures:

Five days is a mere taster but just goes to show what you can do in a short space of time.

Lovely photos, riding those kind of mileages isn't my cup of tea but good on you :)

You just had to put that picture in! Didn't you! :augie
A 1200 saving a 1150.:blast
So where is the one of me saving a 1200? :thedummy

Scuba Aka Jason

Superb report!

Having mopeded through the souks in Marrakech, I'm REALLY looking forward to the video of you lot biking it through. Feck - some of the alleys would jam a GS with boxes on the side solid! :thumb2

I can't see them either. :(

Must be a problem with Jeremy's hosting service as all the IMG tags are in his post. :nenau

Am trying to fix this but my email to Midnight Photos has been rebuffed and the phone doesn't work!
