Hi all

Just learning this Mapsource malachy and have tried to make a route in two installments (break for tea and beer) now open and carry on. What I've ended up with though is two routes in one saved file but wanted it all as one route.

Can they be welded together somehow? Short of starting again?

Thanks

Try this: R-click on the route name in the side bar, Properties. Highlight all of the relevant waypoints (L click on first, hold down shift, L click on last), R-click, Copy.

Then R-click on the route into which you want to insert all these waypoints, Route Properties. Click on the waypoint before which you want to insert route 1 (eg the coffee stop). Then R-click, Paste will then paste in all the waypoints from the first part of the route. Then recalculate.

Sounds more complicated in words than it really is!

BTW, there are little icons in the route properties window which also provide copy and paste functions, so use whichever method suits you.

Never mind RTFM it's so much better to learn from experience. In this case yours! :aidan

It was just as easy as you said and is what I wanted to do first off. Suppose the mistake I made was not looking for a function to edit the first half of the route I saved.

Thanks again.
