Stick coil source

Hi everyone hope we are all well, thanks for all the advice in the previous threads the 1150 has been running great.

I'm just working through a few service jobs on her / getting ready for some bigger trips abroad and am thinking about replacing the stick coils.

Been reading a few old posts an noticed alot of running issues can relate back to them so thought it'd be a good idea to change them + new plugs then I'm at a known starting point to how smooth an an how the bike should feel.

Was wondering who is everyone using BMW? Or Motorworks? An what's everyones take between the two?

Are there any updated ones at BMW an has the part number changed?

These are the current ones last replaced by BM at 25k miles so 28k miles an 14 years ago.

I believe the Beru ZS385 is a direct replacement

Sparkplugs.co.uk are good on price for these coils. They used to sell cheaper Champion coils, which were the same, but I no longer see those on their site

Does anyone know who makes the current 1150 ones for bmw? I tend to remember reading a post by steptoe saying a version they did were good in 2013 but I can't find it again

I am pretty sure it was Beru as original part….the main coil is Beru.
