I have recently had the throttle bodies refurbed by Scriminger the right hand shaft is sticking, possibly shimmed too tight? So i took it off and got some duck oil in both ends by laying the body on each side and allowing the oil to soak in this seemed to free the shaft on trying the bike today it was sticking again any ideas?

Stupid question I know but are you absolutely sure it's the throttles and not the cables sticking?

When you had them off, were they sticking throughout all the movement or just at the start for example?

That was my first thought but it was sticking when operated by hand, throttle worked normally with a spare throttle body fitted.

Phone Scrimager up and have a chat. Top bloke and really helpful especially if he has done something wrong.

Went in the garage this morning throttle working normally when cold.
I feckin hate bikes:confused:

Took your advice topcat phoned Scriminger explained what it was doing he reckons they have probably shimmed it too tight so it sticks when it's hot.
So they are going to have a look next week.

I took the offending item up to Scrimminger's last week he confirmed what i first thought shimmed too tight, got it back today no charge top service.
balanced the throttles this morning works fine when hot i will get out for a proper run later when i get time.
