Stock car racing at Cowdenbeath. Anyone been,is it worth going to see?

I used to go occasionally many years ago. It was ok if you like that sort of thing. The best thing I remember was a guy racing an old 6 cylinder 5 series BMW in Bangers. On open pipes it sounded like tearing calico....

I've been, it's like all motorsport, good fun if you let it be, especially when I was there and a car hit the wall pretty much in front of us, suppose it's the motorsport equivalent of being splashed by a killer whale at sea world....

I used to go as a youngster and thought it was terrific. Went recently and it seemed to have been taken over by the health and safety police. Perhaps I am just getting old but it did not have the same appeal. Much less contact and races stopped at the slightest hint of there being a broken down car stuck on a bend. Still a good night out but didn't get the excitement juices flowing like I remember.

Strangely similar feelings about going to a speedway meeting after a gap of about 25 years so maybe it is just me getting too old.
