My fleet has been reduced this year as I was never using some of them.
The endurance spec R1 went as it was simply too fast for me. Everytime I went out on it I hit at least 120mph and sometimes considerably more. Wife was worried everytime I rode it so thought about keeping it just for track days but no tracks down here in Devon and too expensive to keep taking it to Germany.
Sold my beautiful KTM 640 on which I won the Ben Jones Trophy at Hograost. Hardly ever used it.
So I'm left with:
1997 R1100GS. Currently loaded up and waiting to go to Africa with Calum's Road mob. This is one bike I will never sell, it is a definite keeper.
1996 R100 PD Classic. Still waiting for me to fit the new gearbox I bought from Sherlocks. Been too busy preparing for Africa and sorting out building work to get around to it. Lovely bike, will put lots more miles on it this summer.
1980 R80/7. Currently in lots of bits awaiting a full rebuild. Powder coated frame and lots of new bits ready to bolt on to it. Could make an interesting build up at Airhead Wee-Kend.
1995 Honda Fireblade Urban Tiger. Just took it for a quick run around the block as last chance to ride it for a couple of months. 100% original condition.
2005 KTM300EXC. Nutter enduro bike to use in my woods and at Enduro events.
Aprilia Climber Trials bike. Needs new clutch cable fitting when I have time.
Other bikes in the workshop include:
One of Proff's evil little Honda 50s. This bike is cursed and injures anyone who rides it.
Honda CRF230. Excellent little trail bike.
GPZ500. Thrashed to death by son Martin.
GPZ500. This is supposed to be made into track day bike when we get around to it. We have anough spare bits from three donor bikes.
Fazer 600. Older son has laid it up for winter whilst he is student in Swansea but younger son has now claimed it to replace GPZ.
DR125 Suzuki. Wife might use this to learn on before she takes over R80/7.
