I Know its probably on a boat to somewhere by now, but if everyone could keep a look out, that would be great!

My Stolen bike was:

BMW F650 GS Dakar, Reg: RO03 JHV

It has a Scooters in the Sahara III and cotswold outdoor sticker on the screen.

It was stolen Between 6pm and 8pm today (17th Feb 2011) My bike was stolen. It was parked up on my drive with a disc lock on. My wife was home and didn't hear a thing!

Thanks

Tom:(

Bloody hell Tom. That's the bike you were telling me about the other night. :blast

Your wife didn't hear anything because it was probably just lifted into a van .... complete with disklock. :(

Farrrk!

Tom,
that is really sh1t.

hope you get a result and soon.

Gutted for you - I own RO03 JNJ, your late bike's sister.

Set up a search on eBay for Dakar parts - might be broken for spares. Alternatively it might be recovered in some local woods having been ridden about by the local mongs.

Fingers crossed...

I got it back, I found it myself in some local woods!, they have wrecked it and sprayed it back but insurance is taking care of it. Called the police to tell them, and they said it was great and would put it down as a solved case! not sure how they solved it but hey, got it back at least

Ah - nice job in the end.

Apart from the shite paint job, is it generally OK? Might be able to 'buy it back' from the insurance company if they write it off. Folk often like to have 'their' bike back and often get a fair few quid into the bargain.

Glad you got it back and hope the insurance stands you proud.

Can you keep it hidden in a garage rather than on the drive.

Scumbags my come back and do it again.

If you have to leave it on the drive make sure its chained to something imovable.
