Ok now going to buy one.. always had the tip top kits but thought after everybody raved about the stop and go kits on here I'd give them a try..
Now I notice people who bought the kit also bought a tube of tyre solution .. do I need a tube..?? I was lead to believe the kit didn't use it... any thoughts please.. :-)

No.you don't need any tubes of goo. I would recommend that once you have the kit, spend a bit of time on an old tyre practicing. Its time well spent, rather than trying to figure it out at the side of the road.

Thankyou very much... just making sure I didn't need it.. cheers
Clive.

Top advice.....:thumb2

I have used this kit....no goo etc.....at the side of the M18 at midnight.... running for a ferry.....worked just great......

Suss it before you need it......:)

As already said I would get some of the rat tail thingys as well, I recently picked up a screw in my rear tyre which went through on an angle and didn't leave a clean puncture and the plugs wouldn't seal. Rat tails now carried as well.

Used Stop and Go (as per link) successfully on bike and car tyres, found very easy particularly when rubber inserts were lubricated (silica) otherwise found it very hard to wind in with supplied Allan Key.

Also have a Stop and Go with spring loaded trigger handle that "shoots" rubber insert in - much easier to use

Have also used rats tails with success, but not since carried stop and go.
