Strange noise

My 2016 GSA has recently developed a strange noise that seems to be coming from the speedo/tacho area. Once the ignition is turned on it "whirrs" quite loudly. Similarly, when I turn the engine off the speedo/computer console constantly whirrs until I power down. Hasn't affected anything just annoying really. Anyone had a similar problem?

yep - has Led headlight - if there is a fan it never made a noise previously??

There is a cooling fan, the fan on my 2016 E4 GS failed two weeks after getting my bike, if the fan motor fails (stops spinning) the symptoms are..a bulb warning light comes on in the display and the main beam will auto off presumably to save any damage caused by over heating.

The dealer replaced the fan on my headlamp and it has been fine since.

Your bike could have a noisy headlamp cooling fan motor, if the bike is under warranty get your dealer to fit a new motor.
