street pilot iii. memory

does anyboby know where i can find a memory module for the sp iii, love the unit although now old but just cant find a place to buy a new memory card.
they are unlike any of the morern sd cards.
any help on this matter would be welcomed.
other than that if anyone has one stuck in the back of a draw then i would be willing to cross your palm with silver for it

Got mine new off E-bay (128 Mb IIRC) but that was 4 years ago mind.

Is a StreetPilot III or StreetPilot III Deluxe as they had different memory sizes as I recall

StreetPilot III was 32Mb

StreetPilot III Deluxe was 128Mb

and both were proprietary Garmin memory in the units ?

Are the memoy cards you're looking for made for Garmin units only and they have a pull out handle at one end.
I have the following left over from the old days when I used these cards in my Garmins SP.
One - 8 Megabyte card
Two - 16 Megabyte cards
One - 64 Megabyte card
One - 128 Megabyte card that I'm still using in a Garmin E-map unit.

I may have some others around but will have to have a look for them.

thank you to all that emailed with offers of help with this one. sourced a card that will hold all of europe now.
its great how bikers help each other on here, even from as far as canada.
