Streetpilot just freezes

hey up
My streetpilot 3 screen sometimes freezes - all buttons become no use ( they dont work)
I have to unplug then power up to get back sometimes it OK for ages
any Ideas fixes

I remember getting this on my SPIII and I also remember Fanum posting about the same problem when I started a thread about it years ago, so it's not your unit at fault. The only way to get it going again was to pull the plug on it. TBH I think it's just one of those things you have to live with because I certainly never found a way of stopping it.

Whether this was psychological or real, but the only thing I did which seemed to prevent it happening was pulling over while it recalculated. My SPIII nearly always seemed to freeze if I kept going while it recalculated.

Since I upgraded to a 2610 it's never happened since.
