Yep, threw away those heavy spark plug covers as well in an effort to loose some more weight.

Hammer to hit the 22mm spanner to undo the sensor in the "Y" piece and Stanley knife to cut a Coke can up to make a shim for the stubby pipe

shouldn't be any problem with fitting in Germany.. Its fine when MOT time in UK is here... and its not much noisier than standard
