I used mine several times today, in the attempt to get it to fail, and be ridiculed and shamed on here. It's still working. I use it every time I ride, and have done in over 15000 miles, and it does what it should.

Someone on this thread mentioned the plastics are cheap on these bikes.
Thing is, I've been riding a late 12 plate RT and this has nearly all the same switches / buttons on as the gs. Same type of plastic / material etc.
So do the RT riders suffer the same issues?

My mate has a s1000r and whilst away his switch did exactly this, we gave it some brute force and it would rectify itself, apparently its a common fault on the s1000r forum.
